If you're new to our site -- or just overwhelmed by all the shiny things -- here's a quick guide to who we are, what we do, and how it works.

Who We Are:

Wyrding Studios is a jewelry company run by Kythryne Aisling, with assistance from Amy Linari. The work of other artists also appears on our site from time to time. We have been a full-time business since 2005, and we are located in Concord, New Hampshire. You can learn more about us and our history here.

Our specialty is fine art wire jewelry, but we are branching out into other mediums and art forms: fused dichroic glass, lampwork glass, wands and other ritual tools, and collaborations with visual artists. As artists, we are always learning, experimenting, and exploring new techniques and new materials.

How It Works:

We add new items to our site approximately once a week, usually on Friday evenings. You can browse just the new items, see all of the currently available pieces, or check out what's recently sold. We use a custom-designed cart system that works a little differently than other shopping carts; you can learn more about how it works here. We accept credit cards, echecks, and PayPal. We ship two to three times a week via USPS; go here for more information on our shipping rates and policies.

We also do custom work and a weekly event called Instant Gratification Monday and we offer three subscription programs: The Earring Club, Monthly Mysteries, and the Shiny of the Month Club. Approximately three times a year we offer a special program called Intermittent Mysteries.

Community & News:

There is an discussion forum with hundreds of topics; a blog where Kythryne posts announcements, news, photos of work in progress, and sporadic ramblings; a LiveJournal syndication of the blog; a LiveJournal community where we post announcements and status reports; a weekly mailing list; and a Flickr page with thousands of photos.
